I have green eyes and I really like them. But I want to know how to make them pop without eyeshadow because I never wear it. I usually wear black eyeliner and mascara. If I put concealer on my lids will that make them pop?
Think of Alex Evans, even though he's a guy. Ya know how when you look at him, the eyes are the first things you see? That's how I want mine to appear. Do you think getting a tan will help, I'm not pale, just not really tan.
I have dyed red hair. I know if I dye it black that will make them pop but I really don't want to because everyone at my school is doing.
Um. thanks for the answersHow do I make my eyes pop without eyeshadow?
Black or Charcoal eyeliner and mascara. How do I make my eyes pop without eyeshadow?
you could try using a spray on tanner to see if that works first if not just use lots of eyeliner on your bottom of your eyes....and use an eyelash curler and mascara
Put white eyliner on your eyes.
Trust me, your eyes pop and are noticable
I wouldn't color your hair black.... maybe chocolate brown with some highlights. I wouldn't use concealer on your lids. Shadow is the best way to help your eyes pop.... but since you don't want to use any I would suggest using an eyelash curler to curl your lashes and then lots of black mascara (make sure to comb through it so it doesn't get clumpy) and that should bring focus to your eyes. Also, wear a neutral shade on your lips so you don't draw any attention away from your eyes.
Dying your hair dark brown really makes your eyes pop, no matter what colour. Even though you dont want to dye your hair, trust me, green eyes look AMAZING with dark brown hair.
Use a tanning moisturiser, one that tans you gradually, you can buy them especially for your face.
To make your eyes POP try lining the inner rims of your eyes with white eyeliner. and although you dont want to use eyeshadow, a great tip is to put a little white or cream eyeshadow in the corner of your eyes, it makes you look really radiant and brings out your eyelashes.
As you wear black eyeliner, try holding the eyepencil over a lit match for a few seconds, then apply immediately. This makes the eyeliner much easier to use, and it stays on for much longer =]
Use brown mascara and brown eyeliner.
The earth tones combines with your green eyes will bring them out.

i have green eyes that i like too!
what i do, is i put this brown mascara on first and i apply it like so that the wand is pointing at my eye... and running it along the eyelashes in little sections if that makes sense.. it makes my eyelashes longer and kind of curls them a bit. then, while im letting that dry, i put brown or gray eyeliner on the bottom, and sometimes on the top. and to accentuate the shape of my eye, i make it a little darker on the outside and give myself a tiny bit of a wing. then i go back and do the roots (and just the roots!!) with black volumizing mascara. it makes the eyelashes look thicker but not fake. i put a tad more on the outside eyelashes, and not much at all on the inside ones. Then i put this sparkly stuff right in the inside corner of my eye. its kind of like eyeshadow, but liquid, and it's off white, and i just put a little right in the corner of my eye. when you put a lighter color near the inside it makes your eyes look bigger and pop.
oh and if you ever do use eyeshadow, its good to use brown and purple. purple expecially if you want to bring out the green.
hope that made sense!

Hi, ive got black eyeshadow but it doesnt stand out well...how can i make it pop?
is there anything i can add to my lid.
I always prime my eyes before adding any eyeshadow.
thanx!!Hi, ive got black eyeshadow but it doesnt stand out well...how can i make it pop?
I suggest you apply two eye shadows black and any other eye shadow, you can apply black eye shadow at the end of your lid and bring in forward and another eye shadow 1st
However it should looks professional Go on youtube and search itHi, ive got black eyeshadow but it doesnt stand out well...how can i make it pop?
Is your skin tone naturally medium to dark? If it is, then your shadow won't stand out as much as the shadow on someone who has really fair skin. I suggest you buy a highlight (either white or a peachy nude color that is a few shades lighter than your skin) and brush it onto your brow bone down to the black shadow and also put it on the inside of your inner corners. The contrast between the two colors might make the black shadow pop more.
Also, you can try playing with different bases and primers. Try white and black bases along with the skin-toned bases and primers.
Try different brands of black shadow, too. Maybe it's not as pigmented, so it doesn't stand out as much.
I hope this helps!
Good luck. (:
I have this problem - and with a shimmery black too (the MAC one, Black Tied)
I do the following:
I use a coloured liquid eyeliner, which somehow seems to make the black shadow pop. I use purples, blues and greens.
I also make sure to use a pink or red blusher, which somehow makes my eyes stand out more.
Make sure to use a lot of mascara too - this opens up your eyes as you know, and makes the black shadow stand out.
I think it's all about how the rest of your makeup is done; this is what I'm starting to see.
I had the same problem as you do- black seemed to look blah on me. I did this: take a shimmery white/silver shadow, and after putting your black shadow as a base, put a li'l bit of the white one right in the center of your eyelid. JUST the center, only as wide as the finger you dab it with. Blend a bit so it doesn't stand out as a polka dot, and add more if you need it. Add the same white/silver as a brow highlighter right under your browbone. You could use a gold color in place of white if you wish. Works well for me, hope it does for you too. Best of luck!
Is it a matte or a shimmer shade of black? What brand?
Depending on the brand you may just not have enough pigmentation in the black shadow. Smashbox has a matte black color that works really well. I usually apply a shimmery pink shade first to the entire lid, then the black from the mid to outer corner. The matte black will pick up a little of the shimmer from the shimmery pink underneath (but not a whole lot). It always looks great together and the black really stands out against the lighter pink color.
since it is shimmery add shimmery eyeliner, try black eye shadow, blue mascara %26amp; silver eyeliner for total WOW
make the rest of your makeup plain %26amp; simple looking natural, apart from your eyes, so your eyes look more promenent.
(add one darker %26amp; one lighter shade, then blend to create a smoky eye look)
try different makes, shades %26amp; styles to find one that suites you. dress the black eyeshadow down for work %26amp; glam it up for a night on the tiles.
i reccomend barrym.com
It could be because the eyeshadow you're using is no good. I have no idea what brand you're using, but Lorac's black eyeshadow is great and highly pigmented. Mac's fluidline in blacktrack is also great as an eyeshadow.
Simple I use vaseline. It sticks to that and brings out the colour as it should be. remember don'tt coat it on only the tinest bit. Also this should work for loose powder aswell.
I always use a black liquid eyeliner on my top lashes. It really makes a big difference.

on the top eyelid use make a small line of black eyeliner and on the bottom use a TINY line of a warm honey color and a calm purple shadow. green looks more fake, calm purple almost appears nutral. also get a mascara right for you. doest have to be top-of-the-line product.
smokey purples, greys and blues!

What color eyeshadow/liner makes blue/gray eyes pop?
my eyes are my favorite feature and im looking for new makeup to make them stand out. they are blue, but sometimes have either more gray or green in them so it's sort of difficult to know what colors are best.... ive heard that deep plums and browns are good, but i would like to have more insight!!What color eyeshadow/liner makes blue/gray eyes pop?
i have blue eyes and if you really want your eyes to pop put black eyeliner in the inner rims of your eyes, then use one of the following as your eyeshadow:
1.for something use light brown (no sparkle)
2. shimmery chocolate brown or bronze.
3.shimmery gold.
4.shimmery silver.
5. shimmery orange.
and finish up with marcara (:What color eyeshadow/liner makes blue/gray eyes pop?

I actually prefer a light lilac/purplish color. My wife's eyes are similar to how you describe yours.

lavender tones and pinksWhat eyeshadow/makeup makes greenish/hazel eyes pop?
Plum colors are your best
Then pinks,. purples and dark greens. Brown works too. May I suggest Almay intense i-color collection. Get the eyeliner for green works amazing.
Trust me I have green eyes.
Also try doing a smokey eye with dark green or purple.
Definitely purple!
Apply it heavier on your lid, and smooth the eyeshadow lightly up to your brow bone.
black and other dark smokey colors usually make all light color eyes pop
try the smokey eye look

i agree with sophia
Go for a brownish shiny colour. Because you don't want to look like a skank so try not to wear like a crappy blue or purple. The idea with makeup is to look natural!!
Without looking at the pic, I'd say green or lavender.
i say smoky eye, or pinks. at Safora (sry sp) they sell packages of colors for certain eye colors to. maybe you should check that out.
green!
that makes dark eyes show up more and its really pretty and put a little bit of blue just to blend it and a tad bit of black eyeliner
i would were a purple or a lite brown to make your eyes pop out a little bit.
I think dark/smokey eyes will suit you!
Something like this:

Okay, here's how this works. If you have green eyes, then wearing green eyeshadow won't help you. If you want to achieve that pop of eye color for hazel eyes, you need to do opposites. So use a light lavender or deep purple for your eyeshadow. And use a purple based eyeliner on the eyes as well. For a bigger effect use a brown mascara. Trust me, your eyes will be gorgeous.
i don't think u need a bright color like blue or green or even purple, my advice would be do a light i mean light beige all over your eye lid all the way up to your brow that will help the darker ones i'm gonna tell you to put on will last longer. Ok start on the lid after the light put a med a darker medium just on the lid, then a darker brown in the middle of the light and the medium, not so dark that it over powers but then u kinda blend it in. Do not rub it all off just lightly dust it in together with a brush and i would suggest a dark brown eye liner I hope that doesn't sound too complicated but doing it right is what i want u to do. I used to be a hairdresser but back in those days u learned to do more than hair. Good Luck and Happy Easter
probably a green hope this helps :]

What color of eyeshadow do i use to make my eyes really ';POP';?
My eyes are blue! What color of eyeshadow do i use to make my eyes really ';POP';?
light blue and golden.I know it is hard to control but u know ,Once u get it the effect will be awesomeWhat color of eyeshadow do i use to make my eyes really ';POP';?
It sounds nuts, but think reverse. Go with browns. A medium on the lid, a dark, smoky on the crease and a plain beige on the brow.
If your eyes are light blue like displayed in your Avatar usually if you use a dark shadow or black eyeliner light eye's really pop. Also try using a dark blue eyeliner. It sounds kind of whacky but if you use one suttle enough it makes the white in you eyes really stand out resutling in eye popping attention!
i think that you should use the smokey eye effect...or black eye liner
i have used deep oranges, deep browns and/or deep greens...
i have even tried navy blue mascara, which is subtle, but makes an amazing difference... also, brown or grey eyeliner, not black...
Definately do not use Blue. I would use browns. I've also seen subtle plums do the trick..
ok a very good way to make blue eyes pop is browns, dark browns. ok i will help you step by step.
1.with a brush put some white to cream shadow below your brow.
2. then put some dark brown on your lid half way.
3. after that put some light brown by the dark brown on the lid only.
4. blend them a little so it does not look like just 2 diffrent colors.
5. put black mascara on.
6. then a brown or dark navy that almost looks like black eye liner.
7. put a little what right inside the tear ducked.
8. do not go over board with all of this!
hope i could help! :)
Browns %26amp; Golds will bring out the blue in your eyes and make them stand out. (try a combo of MAC Cosmetics ';amber lights'; %26amp; ';bronze'; blended together)
A really smokey eye will also show off your blue eyes. Line your entire eye with a khol black pencil and finish off with a jet black shadow (try MAC cosmetics carbon).
That's true the smokey effect work,
If you have a MAC store near you. You'll find a lot of fun colors. they will even show you how to put it on.
dark blue
the smokey eye effect, it looks great
Are darker shadow but don't use a lot of it... Use it in the outside corners of your eyes and apply stroking inward.
since u have a lighter color eye u should use dark colors (smokey gray, dark brown, anything darker) to make them stand out, and if u dont want them to stand out s much u do the opposite... hope this helps!!
silver, blue or purple.
use a hot pink or a dark brown eye shadow....use any kind of DARK eyeshadow..they will sure make your eyes ';POP'; good luck
Try the smokey eye effect. It would really make blue eyes pop. You just use a dark brown eye shadow and dark brown eye liner. Look it up to apply it properly in order to get the desired effect.
Gold and Bronzes and reddish tones...Try MAC- Amber Lights, Tempting, Honey Lust, Bronze, or (my fav) Mythology...I have Blue green eyes and when I wear these my eyes ';POP';!!
Uses blues. Blue brings out blue. I have blue eyes too, and blue eyeliner, blue eyeshadow and black mascara. It looks awesome.
DONT USE BLUE!!
use natural colors and your eyes will get more attention
A matte dark brown will really make them sparkle!

WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE: Lizzie (blue shirt) on team motherboy, What eyeshadow was she wearing?
Her eyeshadow was distracting to me, like an ethereal shimmer pink/lavender. Sort of opalescent, so I loved it and am looking for a similar shade. If you know one, or the one used please let me know.WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE: Lizzie (blue shirt) on team motherboy, What eyeshadow was she wearing?
I just watched that like an hour ago! That's so funny. Actually I think it was more of a shimmery gold mixed with a shimmery pink. Hope I helped! -Stormie

What do u use to make your eyeshadow really pop?
Mary Kay makes something called Eye Primer and it's really awesome. It makes your eye shadow really stick (for lack of a better term) to your lids and it also prevents creasing. I think it's $12/tube but 1 tube lasts a looooong time. I wear it everyday and 1 tube lasts me at least 6 months because you don't need much. What do u use to make your eyeshadow really pop?
I just want to add that you should NOT add water to your powder eyeshadow. That's why they make cream eyeshadow. If you add water, you're providing the perfect environment for bacteria and fungus to grow! Report Abuse
What do u use to make your eyeshadow really pop?
I use mascara and an eyelash curler to curl those suckers first. I then put on a neutral eyeshadow all over my lids, and apply the color that is a shade darker on the part where near my eyelashes. Hope this helped!
A clean, well groomed brow will open your eyes as well.
dark or bright colors..
i like black and brown
or blue and purple.
Use either MAC paints in ';Bare Canvas'; or try good old vasaline, I saw this one girl use it in a tutorial and her eyeshadow cam out a vivid colour very true and bright.
Ok.. you want your eyeshadow to pop. What you can do is add a little water to your powder eyeshadow. You can either wet your brush just a little bit or you can put a drip into your eyeshadow. This will make your eyeshadow go on with more color and really pop. It will look like a liquid or a cream shadow, but it will not cake or crease like a liquid or cream does. It's absolutely wonderful with a shimmery shadow. It will really make it pop out and then just put a little below your lower lashes so it looks like eyeliner and all matches. Put a couple coats of mascara and it will look straight out of a magazine. Good luck!
The rule of thumb is to use colors opposite of your eyes to make your eyes pop first. Put a white or pale yellow shade under your brow, on top of your brow bone. then do a darker neutral all over the rest of your lid, and the darkest color in the crease. Use black mascara and a brown or black eyeliner on the top and bottom lid. You can draw a slight v just outside the corner of your eye to give them a more exotic look.
use a lot of it. not to much. that makes you look trashy.

What color eyeshadow makes brown eyes POP!?
I have darkbrown eyes and dark brown hair.
I have 3 different types of green eyeshadows, a shimmery gold eyeshadow, and a brown eyeshadow.
how do i apply them to make my eyes pop?
thanks :)What color eyeshadow makes brown eyes POP!?
Pinks and purples eyeshadow make brown eyes pop. I would stay away from brown tones too close to your eye color. Also put a little bit of light pink shimmery eyeshadow in the corner of your eyes and use nice dark eyeliner to line at the base of your lashes. What color eyeshadow makes brown eyes POP!?
I have the same colors as you and what I'd do is apply the shimmery gold eyeshadow on the side of the eye next to the nose and as you're reaching the end of the eye, gradually apply the brown eyeshadow. However, after you are done with the brown one, apply some more of the gold one on the brown, so that the brown color does not look that dull.
It would be better if you bought some different eyeshadow colours though. I suggest you get green colors and to be more specific, i recommend a ';seventeen'; triplette including gold, golden green and dark green. If you get these, then first apply the golden green eyeshadow on the inner side of the eye, apply some dark green on the edge, mix them in the middle and apply the golden one(which is actually discreet so do not freak out with what i suggest, i do it all the time) on the rest of the eye, up to the eyebrows. In the end, apply some golden green eyeshadow under the eye and sweep it softly so that it's not too intense. So, ';voilla';, your brown eyes now POP!!! :D
Try a plum color if you want to go out and buy one. I don't think you should use the brown eyeshadow. The gold and the green ones would be useful. Apply the green to the lid and then dust the gold over it and outside the eye. But it depends on how shimmery it is...
Foresty greens and frosty greens are perfect for brown eyes. To make it stand out apply it wet or put a base under neath it. Also use the color or a gold eyeshadow to line your lower lash line (by using an angled brush or the end of a eyeshadow brush). Line your water line and upper lash line with a black eyeliner.
Shimmery gold (on the lid itself)
Brown (in the crease)
Accented with a small amount of green (in the crease and outwards)
Hope this is what you're looking for and it helps.
the opposite of brown( i don't know what this is)
for instance, the opposite of blue is orange/goldish so that's what make blue eyes pop the most
the green and gold should be good, id stay away from brown though, it would be too matchy. try pinks and purples, they make brown eyes POP! oh and i agree w/ da other person, go on google images and type in color wheel, and the color opposite brown is the opposite, and use that :)

pretty purple look great on brown eyes!!!
My eyes are green with blue around the outside with yellow specks. What eyeshadow would make my eyes pop?
Choosing eyeshadow
An eyeshadow colour that matches your eye colour may be an easy choice, but not necessarily the best. Try experimenting with complementary colours 鈥?they give a new intensity to your eye colour. My eyes are green with blue around the outside with yellow specks. What eyeshadow would make my eyes pop?
I have green/blue eyes. Depending on what color shirt I am wearing they will change. I usually go with neutral colored eyeshadow. I wear a darker brown in the evening. I will use brown/black eyeliner on top. But I also add a little amount of jade eyeliner on the lower corners and blend or smudge. That really makes them green. Or I'll do blue if I want to bring the blue out.My eyes are green with blue around the outside with yellow specks. What eyeshadow would make my eyes pop?
My eyes are the same way, i use shades of rich purples mixed with light pinks, for a more ';grown up'; look i go with a almost olive green with a lighter brown. Both make my eye color pop out, but its alot in how you apply and where on your eye, go to a marykay party they show you where and how if you feel lost on how to put it on, i dont use there stuff but they show you for free :P im so cheap haha
a lite or dark teal
Try purple or browns.
try bronze,or dusty rose.
as a professional makeup artist..and colour specialist...i can point you to the color wheet an artist works with... go with the opposite color of your eyes to bring out their color. you can't go wrong with browns in all shades.. and purples as accent or all over smudge pot eyes.

What Eyeshadow Color Makes Green Eyes Pop?
and not like, green or blue eyeshadow. What Eyeshadow Color Makes Green Eyes Pop?
There are many eyeshadow tones that can work great for your eyes. I like using different types of browns, more of chocolate tones. I also like to enhance the eye color by using browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights.
Another great choices as highlighters are apricots and taupes.
If you want a glamorous look, go for coppers and golds. You may use also dark purples, plumes and metallics. Dark green eyes look the best with deep purple tones.
This site says that purple doesnt look good and anything with blue undertones. What Eyeshadow Color Makes Green Eyes Pop?
I like dark colors, if you wear a light color it won't stand out as much as if you wore a dark color, I'll say blacks, dark blue, you don't have to be emo, punk or a rock person to wear those colors, they are on style right now and they will make your green eyes stand out even more because of the dark colors around them, just make sure you know how to control the amount of eyeshadow you use... purple will also look nice!! =)
pink because its an amazing mix ..silver wont really do much itl look a little flat...but because pinks bright it mixes well and makes your eyes stand out x
Purples and i like silver on mine too :D
I think brown is good too.
purplish shades are great....
Teal eyeliner and grey shadow
Pink
The contrast is so nice!
Purple! :)
