purples and browns. try an eyeshadw trio by almay called ';play up the brown'; its great. you can get this at your local drug store.

you need a colour that contracts with your eyes if your eyes are brown then greys,greens, purples,blues and this seasons must have metalics in silver will make you eyes stand out,
if they are more a hazel then id go for, blacks and brassy browns, grey or silver, try using MAC products as they stay on all day and stand out extremely well

never use brown, it blends right in
purple is cool, but it's more subtle and less 'poppy'
black looks out of place on brown eyes as does blue
but green, brings out the brown but also looks like it belongs
any shades of browns would work. and also olive greens.
plum eyeliner makes my eyes pop as well.
I'd say green and blue because they are such rich colurs that are bueatiful, typically compliment all skin types and as you said, ';make your eyes pop';

purple is fun for the day time cause it really pops and
green is great for nights out.
especially in metallic shades. i'm not a big fan of heavy matte shades.
i have brown eyes and i love those colors, along with just a little bit of white eyeliner on the bottem lashes. makes them stand out even more.
